What happened to Edita Daniute?

Most readers surely remember Edita Daniute, whom, with Arunas Bizokas, has won every title there is to be won in the Amateur Standard field just a year ago (see their profile page). But since her partner Arunas turned professional and started to dance with Katusha Demidova, not a lot of people heard about her.
In a recent conversation she has confirmed to DancesportInfo.Net that she is happy with her newly born daughter and husband (pictured here) and enjoying motherhood. She is also teaching and adjudicating in Lithuania and internationally. As far as dancing goes, she would be happy to return to the dancing floor as a professional but only if the right partner came along! We are sure many readers would like to see her return further elevate the already increadibly high level of the current professional standard field. |
